AEA Designs attended the international event for design collaborations and furniture and furnishing exhibitions, Salone del Mobile, April 17, 2018 in Milan, Italy. The Salone is a platform for designers and manufacturers to collaborate, industry artists and designers to showcase their cutting-edge work, and for international networking of over 1,400 companies and individuals within the design trade.
The exhibition gathered over 430,000 attendees from all over the world, showcasing over 1,800 exhibitors from 33 countries for furniture and furnishing, kitchen solutions and equipment, bathroom design and accessories, as well as over 650 designers at the SaloneSatellite section of the event.
Salone del Mobile – Milano has also featured several events within the exhibition, including an exploration on how space and design will be shifted for the future, a highlight on the African and Latin American design scene, a conceptualization of the amalgamation of nature and human living with sustainability as the forefront of development, and the annual Salone del Mobile Awards for innovation and outstanding contributions to the industry. ■
